Everyone Is Welcome!

The Energy Awareness Circle is a gathering for everyone interested in metaphysical thought and philosophy and holistic practices.  It provides an opportunity to share new ideas beginning with an announced topic for informal discussion.  This is followed by an energy sharing.  Participants bring a snack to share during discussion if they choose to.    If you would like to receive an email reminder each month, please send your email address to laurendale43@gmail.com.  
There is no charge.

Utensils, plates, cups, napkins, decaf coffee & tea are provided.

We will hold classes about any of our topics in Knoxville, Maryville, Alcoa,  Athens, Cleveland or their vicinity, daytime or evening for 3 to 5 students.  Please call us to schedule,  423-442-4201.

     Level 1 is taught from 9:30am to 12:30pm.  Come early and walk

     the labyrinth for classes in Madisonville.

In Level ! you are taught to work with someone in person and for issues on the physical level.  You will be taught the Reiki principles, ethics, hand positions for treatments, one symbol, how to do a treatment and how to scan a person's energy field.  You will receive an attunement to Level 1.

         Break for lunch  12:30 pm to 1:30 pm

         Level 2 is taught from 1:30pm to 4:30pm.

In Level 2 you will learn to do treatments on the emotional and mental levels and for persons who are at a distance.  You receive two more symbols.  There will be more practice of scanning and these new techniques.  You will receive and attunement to Level 2.

With Levels 1 and 2, you now have all the training you need to practice Reiki.

                

REIKI LEVEL 3     This class is held as needed.  There is expected to                                                 be another class in the "end of June" timeframe.

     SAT. JUNE 26      9:30am to 1:30pm

     FEE;  $55

Level 3 is the Master/Teacher Level.  You are taught to treat at the spiritual level, how to teach Reiki and how to do attunements.  You are given the master symbol and the symbol for attunements.  You practice giving attunements. We request that students to have at least one year of regular practice with Reiki before taking Level 3.   Manual provided.     

More about Reiki:


Reiki, one of the most widely used holistic energy healing techniques, was brought to this country from Japan in the mid-20th century. Reiki is a Japanese healing technique used to relieve pain and speed healing.  Reiki energy comes from whatever you consider to be the Highest Power.  You cannot use Reiki for harm.  Reiki is a gift.  Everyone already has Reiki.

 

Through attunement, you will move to a significantly higher level of access to this healing energy than you are able to achieve now.   You are not the healer.  The client is.  You are merely the vehicle through which the energy flows to the client.  The client’s body may accept or reject the Reiki energy.  When accepted, the body uses Reiki to replenish the energy in those body systems where the energy is depleted. 

 

Pain is one way the body cries out for energy to heal itself.  It is not a signal to blot it out with pain killers, but a signal that the body needs more energy to become whole and healthy again. 

 

You do not need to “believe” in any particular philosophy to use or receive the benefits of Reiki.  You only need to be open to the possibility that a good change may occur.  You only need to allow this energy to come to you.

 

Remember, the nature of Reiki is that it CAN ONLY BE USED FOR GOOD.  Reiki is similar to the hands on healing traditions of many religions and other belief systems.

Learn how easy it is to re-energize your body.  Just follow the road map for your body's Meridian system which runs throughout your body carrying energy just as the veins and arteries carry blood.  You'll learn the location of the meridians, how to test each meridian to determine if it's functioning properly or de-energized or over-energized, how to energize and de-energize the meridians and release impediments to free flowing energy.  This practice can be used on anyone from new born to age 94 and older.  We'll teach you how to test and correct energy flow for people at a distance or for those who are bed-ridden.



THE MANY WAYS TO MEDITATE

Meditation isn’t always sitting still.  If you’ve said, “I just can’t sit still and empty my mind.  There’s too much going on,” then this class is for you.  Come and enjoy this playful class to learn other ways to meditate and find out which one suits you best.  Each form of meditation will be practiced.  One of the special features of this class is walking the labyrinth in meditation.  It has been said that a group of meditators can change the energy for the entire area where they live and as the group grows, greater changes manifest. 

 

Typically, many think of a monk sitting in solitude and silence as THE way to meditate.  Yes, this is one way, but there are many more.  And to many Westerners, quieting the mind can be a daunting task.  Our minds are moving in multi-tasking directions constantly.  Of course, it can be said that it would be a good thing to quiet that mind once in a while, but it can also be discouraging if a goal-oriented, success-driven person keeps failing. 

 

Rather than just forgetting about meditating altogether, wouldn’t it be better to ease into it gently and practice other, less rigorous, forms of meditation?  Mountain Harmony Wellness' class helps with this process.  Many forms of meditation will be learned and practiced, including the meditative labyrinth walk.  If you haven’t found your meditation niche or if you’d like to add some new ways to your repertoire, come join us.

This class teaches you techniques to stop giving more than you feel comfortable doing and to honor your limits in your relationships with others.  As you respect your boundaries more, you will notice a difference in how others respond to your new respect of both yourself and them.

Just in time for the Holidays, you learn techniques to help you better handle stressful situations in all aspects of your life.  Learn to defuse the triggers that cause you to respond in anger to the actions or words of others--or yourself.
